Troop 133/1033 - Monday 6/22/26

Posted on Jun 20 2026 - 12:19pm

Troop families

Our beloved ASM John Pratt passed away on Friday.
Mr Pratt was active in Scouts BSA for most of his life, and was a firm believer in the power of the scouting program to change the lives of youth.
He served as ASM for T133/T1033 from 2019-2025, and advised the PLC youth leadership every Monday, alongside David Waldman.
Prior to T133/T1033, John served in numerous roles in other units including Scoutmaster, and at the district and council level.
As a youth, John earned Eagle in 1964, and as an adult he earned the District Award of Merit in 1980, Wood Badge beads (Eagle Patrol) in 1980, Firecrafter Minisino honor in 1981, Silver Beaver in 1992, and Order of the Arrow Vigil in 2013.
Mr Pratt gave memorable Scoutmaster minutes to our youth, and was an inspiration to both youth and adults.
He will be sorely missed.
